Prior to founding Agathos, Andrew consulted with ClearView and QuintilesIMS, researching with hundreds of physicians, payers, and administrators on matters of clinical evidence and practice economics.

Steve began his career in implementation at Epic Systems, eventually leading the Product Success team for international offerings. With expertise in EMR data, physician user experience, and client service, Steve founded Agathos to give physicians more value from EMR data through an easy-to-use solution.

Tynan is a lifelong technologist, entrepreneur, trusted advisor, and has lead teams building innovative new healthcare platforms for Allscripts, DaVita, The University of Texas Medical Branch, Envision Healthcare, and US Oncology. To bring sustainable technology innovation to Agathos, he has focused on building a cross-functional and dynamic partner ecosystem that enables delivering progressive technology at speed.

Stephanie is a founding member of Agathos and Chief Strategy Officer. Stephanie manages Agathos' relationships with new and preexisting health system partners. She is passionate about improving quality and reducing costs for health systems and the patients they serve. Prior to Agathos, Stephanie was a strategy consultant for Accenture.

JP has over 25 years of marketing experience ranging from executive and product management roles to leadership at award-winning agencies. He has marketed for American Airlines’ SABRE division, SAP’s Germany-based services organization, and also for startups in supply chain technology and healthcare. Prior to joining Agathos in October 2021, JP was VP of marketing for healthcare consulting firm Nordic Consulting Partners (now Nordic Global).

Michael has 20+ years of experience delivering results at health plans and integrated delivery systems, most recently as VP of Variation Reduction at Sutter Health. His method of pinpointing care variation and facilitating helpful, actionable feedback has won physicians’ trust and generated millions in savings.

Natasha is a Data Scientist with Agathos and holds a doctorate in ecology. Previously, she conducted research in behavioral ecology. Currently, she leverages her data expertise to identify patterns and insights in healthcare data for improved patient care.

Dori has over 20 years of experience in health care informatics and quality improvement. She brings both the health plan and physician organization perspective to improving value and quality of patient care. Prior to joining Agathos in October 2021, Dori was Director of Variation Reduction at Sutter Health.

Chelsea comes to Agathos with Epic EMR implementation and consulting experience, specializing in Operation Room (OR) process improvement and clinical efficacy. As a Customer Success Manager, she demystifies complex EMR analytics, helping clinicians get their hands on actionable information. Previous to Agathos, Chelsea served as an AmeriCorps VISTA service member with Habitat for Humanity and was with Epic Systems.

Michelle is passionate about improving physician efficiencies and helping them understand their data. She has close to 10 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting Epic. Previous to Agathos, Michelle worked for Epic Systems, specializing in oncology and ambulatory workflows for a wide variety of hospital organizations.

Ezra is a full stack software developer who finds meaning in making technology accessible. Before joining the Agathos team, he worked on infusion pump integration at Epic Systems. Ezra has a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Rutgers University.

Anatoliy has 10 years of experience as an entrepreneurial software engineer under his belt, and is adding some spice to his career by training to be a clinical mental health counselor. Anatoliy is passionate about using technology to improve mental health care delivery. He is completing a clinical internship in an inpatient psychiatric unit and is looking forward to also playing a part in improving hospital operations.

Paul is a founding member of Agathos and an expert in electronic health data interchange for Epic and Cerner systems. Paul is a proven health IT entrepreneur and has helped numerous hospitals implement Epic. Paul joined Agathos to accelerate learning via EMR data, streamline data transfer, and create Agathos’ data analytics architecture.

Prior to working at Agathos, Marina graduated from Sweet Briar College with a B.S. in Engineering Science and worked as a Civil Engineer specializing in healthcare development.

Saj Patel s an academic hospitalist at UCSF Health, where he practices inpatient medicine on both the direct care (non-teaching) and teaching services. He serves as the Director of Quality Improvement for the Division of Hospital Medicine (DHM), and his academic interests are in audit and feedback, including clinical metric development, data dashboard design, and feedback delivery. He led the development of the first individual provider performance dashboard for UCSF DHM, and has published several studies on audit and feedback.

Farshid is a hospitalist, palliative care physician and medical director at Healthcare Partners. He develops and implements population health strategies for high-risk patients and brings expertise in managed care, payor contracting, and clinical workflows. Farshid completed his medical training at Ohio State and UC Irvine.

John is a national expert on hospital medicine practice management. He had a career in patient care as a hospitalist, co-founded the Society of Hospital Medicine and served as president, and is an active figure in the evolution of hospitalist practice nationally. He is one of only three members of the SHM inaugural class of Masters in Hospital Medicine (MHM).

Asa is an internal medicine physician and infectious disease specialist based in Seattle, WA. He is an attending physician at Harborview Medical Center; a faculty member at the University of Washington School of Medicine; and Research Associate at the Fred Hutchison Cancer Center. A former academic hospitalist, Asa completed his training at UC San Francisco, Johns Hopkins Bayview, and University of Washington. He provides clinical expertise for Agathos’ metrics and UX design.

Usha is an ER physician and health technologist who has worked in 10+ academic and community hospitals. Usha brings deep clinical, product, and analytics expertise. Usha completed her medical training, MS, and MPH at Northwestern and instructed at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Jonathan is an academic emergency physician and expert in hospital operations with several related publications. He is Vice Chair of Strategy and Operations at McGovern Medical School, part of UTHealth in Houston. Jonathan completed his emergency medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, and Brigham & Women’s Hospital, and earned an MBA from Harvard.

Erin is a pulmonary/critical care physician and educator at UCSF. She completed her medical training at USC and pulmonary/critical care fellowship at UCSF. She is an NIH funded physician-scientist and full-time faculty at UCSF. Erin attends in the ICU at the Parnassus Height Campus of UCSF and brings this critical care expertise to Agathos.

Rob is a pediatrician, hospital EVP, and Chief Strategy Officer and Innovation Officer, dedicated to accelerating high-quality, affordable care. Rob brings expertise in medical leadership, ACO and CIN development, and managed care contracting, serving as President of Mercy Springfield. Rob completed his medical training at Vanderbilt and MBA at UMass Amherst.

Abie is a data scientist, professor, and researcher in global health metrics. He is currently developing methods for measuring efficiency of health facilities, causes of death, and non-fatal health outcomes. Abie earned his PhD (Algorithms, Combinatorics & Optimization) from Carnegie Mellon.

Christine is an information security, privacy, and protection expert with 25+ years of experience in healthcare. Christine advises technology companies and hospitals, and recently served as the CISO for Stanford Children’s. Christine recently participated in the HHS Healthcare Cybersecurity Task Force.
